This Website is owned and operated by D C Thomson & Company
Limited ("D C Thomson"), a limited company registered in Scotland.
These rules are the terms and conditions that you must agree to in
order to use this Website (the "Rules").
1. AGE RESTRICTIONS
- To use this Website you must be over the age of 5
- If you are younger than 18:
- you must show your mother, father or guardian these Rules and
they must have then given you permission to use this Website,
and
- unless your mother, father or guardian have told you otherwise,
you must be supervised at all times by your mother, father or
guardian when using this Website
- If you are a mother, father or guardian of a user of this

terms and conditions in respect of yourself and your child, and

4. KEEPING SAFE ON THIS WEBSITE

Thomson is not related to Facebook and cannot be liable for
anything that is displayed on Facebook.

of our website other than its main pages (i.e. you must not link to

THE BEANO - COMPETITION
RULES
1. Employees and their families of:
(i) D. C. Thomson & Co., Limited ("D. C.
Thomson") and other D. C. Thomson Group Companies
(ii) any company or sponsor associated with the
specific competition are not eligible to enter the competition.
2. Age restrictions may be specified for certain
competitions.
3. Only one entry per person per competition is
permitted.
4. Entries must be submitted in accordance with
the format specified by the competition. Proof of making a phone
call, sending an e-mail or posting is not proof of our receipt of
your entry and D. C. Thomson accepts no responsibility for lost,
delayed or damaged entries.
5. The closing date for entries will be specified
in each competition and winners will be notified within 28 days of
the closing date.
6. The Intellectual Property Rights in the
competition entry vests in D. C. Thomson. Entries cannot be
returned to entrants unless we specifically say so.
7. To obtain the name of the competition winners,
please send a stamped addressed envelope to:- The Beano D. C.

8. The successful entrants will be selected at
random by the editor. The editor's decision is final and no
correspondence will be entered into.
9. No cash alternative is available. The
promotion sponsors reserve the right to offer an alternative prize
of equal or greater value than that advertised.
10. Competition winners may be required to
participate in publicity.
11. The prizes offered in the competitions may be
provided by a sponsor or alternative promoter rather than D. C.
Thomson and in such circumstances D. C. Thomson does not accept any
responsibility for the accuracy of any prize descriptions supplied
by such third parties.
12. A third party providing the prize in any
competition may impose terms and conditions upon the use or the
acceptance of the prize. The winner shall be advised of these terms
and conditions prior to their acceptance of the prize.
13. D. C. Thomson may pass your details on to any
third party who may provide the prize for the purposes of sending
you the prize on behalf of the promoter.
14. D. C. Thomson reserves the right to amend
these rules at any time and a revised copy will be available on
request.
15. Entry into the competition deems acceptance
of these rules.
