But let's give players like Messi and Neymar a break, because there's been a long history of weird football fashion.

From shirts that look like sprouts to a kit that looks like the cat's been sick in the washing machine, chances are you've seen some awful kits yourself.

Well, now fans have decided enough is enough and have taken matters into their own hands by designing their own versions of classic footie shirts.

So if you reckon your team could do with a makeover, you might find a suitable new style here.

Manchester City

Man City superstars like Kevin De Bruyne and Sergio Aguero are top of the table in the Premier League and this mountain-themed team strip suggests a footie club at the peak of their powers. Like a mountain peak.See what they did there?

While Man City's shirt looks all powerful and stuff, Manchester United's kit has been reimagined with a burger logo pasted across the front. We're not sure what you think, but wouldn't too much fast food make footie players a bit too slow? When Red Devils star Alexis Sanchez orders a happy meal, he probably wants something a bit better than cold chips and a miserable milkshake.
