1. Think of something you like about yourself!
We can all feel low sometimes, but there are plenty of ways to turn your frown upside-down!Write down your best feature, the last time someone said something nice to you or maybe a time you did something for someone that made you feel good. Although these might seem like small things, it's important to recognise all the good things about you! Why? Because you’re great, that's why!
2. Talk to someone about how you feel
School gives you a chance to hang out with your mates but sometimes relationships with school friends can be difficult.If this happens, talk to your parents/carers or a trusted adult about what is bothering you. They can approach the school to address the problems and work together to help resolve them. Remember, it's always good to talk!
3. Get active!
Sometimes life can get stressful, but there’s ways to cope if you notice yourself feeling angry. Try take a deep breath or do some exercise, like walking your dog - even if you've got a dog like Gnasher! And if you like music, playing your favourite songs can help you feel happy and calm.
4. Be kind to yourself!
When SATs come around, life can seem stressful, but there’s loads of ways to take the pressure off.Start a study group with pals to keep things sociable. Be kind to yourself while you’re studying and most importantly – remember there’s more to life than exam results!
5. Take a break from being online!
When you’re not at school, it can be fun to take a break by spending time online.
