Feeling arty? Feeling architect-y? Pick up some pens and learn how to draw this awesome tower!

Rather draw something else? Check out these swamp monstersnakeyeti, or ice cream guides!

You Will Need:

  • Some arty things. Pens, pencils, felt-tips, crayons, a ruler, a fancy eraser from a popular theme park, your choice.

Step 1

Begin by drawing a straight line up the centre of the page. It's best to use a ruler as most skyscrapers are quite straight.

Step 2

Add another two lines, one on either side of the central black line. Your skyscraper is beginning to take shape.

Step 3

Turn the three lines into a box shape by adding four new lines – two at the top and two at the bottom.

Step 4

Remember the line you did at the beginning of this activity? Of course you do, it was seconds ago. Add ANOTHER line, so your box shape has a sort of antenna poking out of the top.

Step 5

Add two small lines either side of this, like so.

Step 6

Make another box shape by adding two more lines which connect everything together.

Step 7

Add a third level to the building and watch as it climbs further into the sky! This is going to be a space-scraper by the time you're finished!

Step 8

What's this? A little pointed mast or something. Or it could be a massive drawing pin. We do not know, but every skyscraper seems to have them.

Step 9

Add some windows and a door at the bottom. People need see out of this architectural wonder, after all.

Step 10

Grab some pens, pencils or whatever you like and shade it in. Why not colour one side in slightly darker to make it look extra realistic?

Why not add King Kong to the upper floors?

Look at this massive gorilla. They're furious they can't fit into the lift.

You could have a go at drawing this fancy spike!

Where does this skyscraper end? Nobody knows! The birds know, but won't tell anyone.

Or how about this space-nudging building from the future?

This building is bound to have wi-fi and doors that open automatically.
