1981 Beano Annual
Most Beano annuals were actually produced 18 months in advance of their release date, due to the sheer number of annuals published by DC Thomson. All the annuals were printed on the same presses, so the schedule was very tight.
Classic characters collide
Check out this classic comic strip that sees characters crossing over into other characters’ stories! Most of these characters would see their final strips appear during the 1980’s, before moving on to Beanotown retirement home.
