Beano 4253: The Art of Dodging!
1. Sofa, so good?
Roger’s dad needs help getting a new sofa into the house. Of course, he leaps into action… plotting ways of how to get out of doing some heavy lifting. This leads to a big adventure with Calamity James, involving a broken piano, a furious pterodactyl and a family of bears. It’s just another normal day in Beanotown, then!
2. Quiet, please!
This week, Miss Mistry asks her class to explore the library and find a good book to read. Minnie and Francis find themselves in a spooky corner of the library and come face to face with a ghost who just wants some peace and quiet. It is a library, after all.
3. Fast forward!
Class 2B are in for a treat as Teacher wheels in an antique TV and video into the room so they can watch a documentary on the Battle of Hastings – but he can’t find the remote. Sketch Khad comes to the rescue with a remote she helped design with Rubi. But, as it turns out, the remote controls more than the TV!
4. Crust for laughs!
Dennis’ mum has baked a delicious apple pie. Who can resist such a tasty treat? As a precaution, Sandra leaves the pie on a windowsill to cool down and keep it out of the reach of her family’s hands…
5. Bun in a billion!
Now that Calamity James has learned the art of dodging, he sets off in Beanotown to use his new found skills. And it turns out that his dodging ways have earned him a slice of good luck as he becomes Beanotown’s billionth customer! When will his good luck run out?

1. Back to school!

2. Gnasher’s been put under a spell!
Bananaman foe Witchy Woman is in Beanotown and is in the mood for a new pet. She puts Gnasher under a spell and whisks our favourite four-legged hero off to her forest home. Will Dennis be able to retrieve his best pal and use some of his own magical mayhem to save the day?
3. A Minnie epic!
Miss Mistry set her class some homework to do for their first day of the new term. Minnie is first up to read out a piece entitled ‘What I Did Over the Summer’ and is confronted by some bored heckling. It’s time to think fast, so Minnie embellishes her essay with some tall tales! Will Cruncher believe her story?
4. A microchip off the old block!
This week, Rubi puts her scientific know-how into creating a machine which will teleport chips directly from the chippy! Will she be able to transport her favourite treat or will she have to put salt and vinegar on a packet of microchips instead?
5. Will S.M.I.R.K. ruin Dangerous Dan’s big breakfast?
Dangerous Dan heads to Beanotown Cafe for a slap up breakfast. As he prepares to tuck into a Full English, a pair of no-good S.M.I.R.K. agents appear to spoil the most important meal of the day. Will Dangerous Dan be toast?
