Meet Pie Face, one of Dennis' best friends!
My name is Peter and I absolutely love pies.
Maybe my love and obsession has something do with the fact my surname is Shepherd, which is a type of pie and thoroughly delicious.
If it’s a pie, then I’m a fan: savoury pies, fruit pies, custard pies. If I was to go into detail about why I love pies, that would seriously take up a lot of our day.
The pie was invented by ancient Egyptians, who are heroes for this fact alone. If I had a time machine, I’d like go back in time and shake the hand of the person who’d pulled that first baked treat out of the oven.
I love pies so much that I’ve actually saved part of the crust from my first-ever pie and have kept it safe. Sometimes I look at it for ages and have to resist the urge to have another bite.
Did you know I’ve invented my own pie? It’s called the ‘Pie Pie’ – which is a pie with a pie filling. It’s perfect for anyone who loves pies. I might even start my own pie fan club.
Apart from pies, I also love my friends. One of my best friends is Dennis, along with Rubi, JJ and Gnasher. Together, we get together and make some serious noise as Beanotown’s fastest and loudest garage rock band, Dennis and The Dinmakers! Playing the bass is like eating the perfect pie: deep, with just a hint of soggy bottom.
My constant companion is Paul the Potato. People think he’s just your average King Edward spud but he’s more than that. He’s a friend, a superhero and a silent genius. He’s the best.
