What Really Happens in the Staff Room?
It’s the home to every teacher in school but just what goes on behind those closed doors?
School is full of rooms.
Rooms to learn in, rooms to eat in, even rooms to get told off in!
But there’s one school room that remains the most mysterious of all – the staff room.
It’s the home to every teacher in school but just what goes on behind those closed doors?
Inside, if the reports are to be believed, there are coffee mugs, bags of biscuits, comfy cushions and big, soft sofas all on hand for those teachers to chill out and destress after a hard day.
But because no-one ever gets the chance to visit, we’ve never known for sure what really happens in there.
Until now, that is! Because we’ve been given access to a school staff room so we can finally find out exactly what those teachers get up to when they’re on their own!
And we've mentioned it already, but there are some special items found in every staff room - so let's take a look at some of them now so you know what to look out for if you're ever in a staff room yourself!
Biscuits
You know how teachers will tell you off for eating junk food? Well, it seems all THEY eat is biscuits. Biscuits!! Unbelievable.
Tea
Apart from the fact those biccies will leave you with a very dry mouth, teachers also can't get enough tea. Which is cool and all, but it's amazing they have so much time to wait around drinking hot drinks all day when they're supposed to be teaching you!
Teachers
Let's face it - it wouldn't be a staff room without actual teachers so you can be sure that, if you find yourself in a room with lots of teachers around, it's pretty likely you'll be in staff room. Either that, or you're a teacher yourself!
