The 2024 edition of BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing is here, bringing a brand-new lineup of fancy-footed stars ready to dazzle the nation on the dance floor! From Olympic champions to pop legends, they’re set to compete for the coveted Strictly trophy.

Chris McCausland is a blind comedian known for his hilarious stand-up routines and TV appearances. With his great sense of humour and determined attitude, Chris could charm the judges and audience all the way to the picking up the trophy in 2024!

2. Dr Punam Krishan

Dr. Punam Krishan is known for giving top health advice on TV. She’s full of energy and positivity – perfect ingredients for some Strictly magic! Dr. Punam could emerge victorious on the iconic ballroom floor!

3. Jamie Borthwick

Jamie Borthwick plays Jay Brown on EastEnders and has all the soap star charm: he’s quick, funny, and always up for a challenge. Jamie’s got the charisma to light up that fancy Strictly dance floor, and if he brings that East End grit, he could spin his way to the final easily!

4. JB Gill

JB Gill made his name as a vocalist in the pop group JLS, famous for his epic dance moves and serious stage experience. With his pop-star style and awesome energy, JB could groove his way to Strictly stardom!

5. Montell Douglas

Montell Douglas is an Olympic sprinter and bobsleigh champ AND Fire from Gladiators, which makes her super speedy and super strong! She’s used to fierce training and never gives up. With her athletic skills, fierce focus, and mega determination, Montell could pick up that Strictly trophy at the end of the series!

6. Nick Knowles

Nick Knowles is the DIY hero from DIY SOS, always ready to fix things and help people out! He’s got the charm, confidence, and that all important can-do attitude. If he brings that same energy to Strictly, he could build up some awesome moves and dance his way into the final!

7. Paul Merson

Paul Merson is a legendary ex-Arsenal star and TV pundit known for his top-notch skills on the pitch and sharp footie brain. He’s faced challenges over the course of his career and come out stronger! With his competitive spirit, fancy footwork, and determination to impress, Paul could dribble, spin, and score Strictly glory!

8. Pete Wicks

Pete Wicks is the long-haired legend from TOWIE, known for his cheeky charm and tons of tattoos! He’s got loads of swagger and loves a challenge. So, if Pete can swap the drama of Essex for the glitz of the ballroom, he could totally waltz his way into the final without a doubt.

9. Sam Quek

Sam Quek is an Olympic field hockey champ and TV presenter, super competitive and always ready for a challenge! She’s a team player with loads of energy and determination. If Sam brings her sporty skills and fearless attitude to Strictly, she could definitely score big and take home the glitterball trophy!

10. Sarah Hadland

Sarah Hadland is the hilarious star from the BBC show Miranda, known for her brilliant comedy timing and fun personality. She’s full of energy, always up for a laugh, and loves performing. If Sarah brings her comic charm and bubbly moves to Strictly, she could be a contender for lifting that big sparkling trophy!

11. Shayne Ward

Shayne Ward is the pop star who won the second-ever series of The X Factor and later appeared on Coronation Street. If he's still got those dance moves from his pop career, they could shine through on Strictly and help him tango into the final.

12. Tasha Ghouri

Tasha Ghouri is known for being Love Island’s first-ever deaf contestant and cochlear implant mentor, and as a model and dancer, she’s got the moves and the attitude to win. With her fierce determination and energy, Tasha could dance all the way into the final and take home the Strictly trophy!

13. Tom Dean

Tom Dean is a double Olympic swimming champion with a splash of charm. With his fierce determination, athleticism and winning spirit, he’s clearly ready to dive onto the dance floor and grab that glitterball!

14. Toyah Wilcox

Toyah Wilcox is a legendary pop star and actress, known for her awesome style and creativity. If she brings her showbiz flair and fun spirit to Strictly, she could dance her way into the final and get her hands on the dancing crown!

15. Wynne Evans

Wynne Evans is an opera singer and the iconic star of the Go Compare adverts on telly! We know he's got the vocal skills and the biggest grin out of all the competitors, but does Wynne have the moves to wow the judges? Only time will tell tell!
