1. She Was Born on 7th September 1999

Gracie was born in September, which makes her a Virgo! Virgos are known to be smart, organised and passionate. They’re also known to be helpful, kind and hard works -all perfect traits to make it as a pop princess!

2. Her Dad is Famous Hollywood Film Director JJ Abrams

You might recognise Gracie’s surname, because her dad is famous film director JJ Abrams! His most well known films include Star Trek, Star Wars and Mission Impossible! So far, Gracie hasn’t appeared in any of her dad’s films, but watch this space – maybe they’ll be a future collab coming up?

3. Gracie is From LA, California

Since her dad is in ‘the biz’, Gracie grew up in LA, California, the place to be if you’re in the entertainment industry! She attended The Archer School For Girls, a prestigious private school, where she enjoyed playing football and learning music!

4. She Started Writing At An Early Age

Lots of Gracie’s song writing ideas come from her diary, which she’s kept since she was a child, and in fact the EP ‘Minor’ was inspired by diary entries she made as a teenager! If only all our diaries could be inspirational and not just cringy!

5. She Can Play a Lot of Instruments

As well as being an epic singer, Gracie can play the guitar, keyboards, ukulele and the drums! She learned them during childhood, and is self-taught at piano and guitar! Impressive!

6. She’s Opened For Some Very Cool Acts

As well as being a rising star in her own right, Gracie has some pretty cool friends! She’s bffs with Olivia Rodrigo, and opened for her on her Sour tour in 2022, and she also opened for Taylor Swift’s Eras tour in 2023 and 2024!

7. Gracie Has Two Brothers

She is a middle child, with an older brother called Henry and a younger brother called August. Her grandparents were also in the entertainment industry – her dad’s parents were both TV and film producers!

8. And a Dog Called Weenie!

Gracie often posts on her singles all about her adorable dog ‘Weenie’ (a sausage dog). She says she loves to spoil him and always treats him ‘like its his last day on earth’. Aww! She also says he’s ‘much bigger than you think he is’.

9. Her Debut Single Was ‘Mean It’

‘Mean it’ was Gracie’s debut single. It was released in 2019, and is all about not being sure about how someone feels about her. It was followed up with her debut EP, ‘Minor’ in 2020.

10. She is a Big Joni Mitchell Fan

Growing up, Gracie adored singer songwriter Joni Mitchell and loved listening to her albums, in fact Gracie’s said she ‘Loves her more than anything’ She even cemented her fandom with a tattoo – the word ‘River’ (one of Joni’s songs) in Joni’s handwriting.

11. She is Grammy Nominated

Even though Gracie is still in the early stages of her career, she’s already been nominated for a Grammy! She was nominated in 2024 for Best New Artist, and 2025 for Best Group Performance for the song ‘Us’, which she wrote and performed with Taylor Swift.

12. She Believes Music Should Be Personal

Gracie is not afraid to say that she believes music should speak to people’s belief and opinions. As well as singing about her own experiences, Gracie has campaigned for Kamala Harris and openly expressed her fears about the Roe V Wade issue in America. Good on you Gracie!

13. Her Debut Album Is Called ‘Good Riddance’

‘Good Riddance’ was released in 2023. It’s mostly made up of pop tracks and has been described as a ‘coming-of-age’ album. As well as her own songs, Gracie includes some collaborations on the album with artists like Brian Eno and Aaron Dessner from The National. Some of the songs on the album, such as ‘Amelie’ come from diary entries.

14. She Loves Poetry

Gracie is a life long poetry fan, and likes to post her favourite pieces to her socials to share with her fans, sating she’s ‘thankful for poets’. She’s also an avid reader who likes sharing book recommendations too!

15. She Has Also Been A Model

Gracie is a multi-hyphenated talent! As well as being a singer songwriter, she has also modelled for Chanel’s 2025 summer collection, as well as appearing on the cover of V magazine!
