Night of The Living Veg

HELP! Evil zombie carrots are going to take over Bash Street School, but Rubi is here to save the day!

Complete all 10 levels to beat back the invasion of the living veg, and make the vegetable patch at Bash Street School safe again. The garden seems to be a little bit overgrown, with spine-chilling chilli bushes, grimacing cabbages, and sprawls of roots, rocks, and forgotten watering cans. Mind you, zombies would make me drop my tools and forget to do the weeding!

Avoid the zombie carrots on patrol. They mostly move randomly – they are brainless zombies after all (not that non-zombie carrots have many brains to begin with). Controlling Rubi, move her in her wheelchair up down left or right to navigate around the gridded garden.

Collect all of the baby carrots in the level to move on to the next challenge, and try not to lose any lives. As a bonus, see if you can grab the small Rubi head collectibles to gain extra lives.

Keep an eye out for the shining green pea shooter – picking one up means you can fight back against the evil veg and eliminate the zombie carrots from the map, which will boost your score.

Later levels get trickier – how many can you complete? Keep your eyes peeled for vine traps; you’ll have to time your movements to avoid getting caught.

HOW TO PLAY

– Use the arrow keys to move your character, Rubi von Screwtop

– Pick up a peashooter to slice the carrots into delicious carrot coins

– Collect all the golden carrot coins to complete each level

– Try to grab extra lives, but watch out for traps

Rescue the healthy plants from the evil veg, and eat them to defeat them!
