Lazer Puzzle Game: Lazer Maze

Her brand new machine – the “Lazer Maze” – is designed to solve mazes quickly, but it’s acting up and she has to solve 30 mazes in time for the Bash Street School science competition! Rubi says “I invented a maze-solving laser beam for my science homework, but it’s due TOMORROW and we haven’t even had time to test it yet! Please can you help me solve these mazes before it’s due?”.

To get started, tap on the mirrors that on the bottom tray in the middle of the screen, and drag them to the board. You’ll want to place them so that the light will bounce in the direction of red to green; from the pulsing laser dot to the mysterious crystal. Can you light up the green pyramid using just the pieces that you’re supplied with? Don’t worry if you get stuck, you can always tap the button with the two circular arrows to reset the pieces on the board back into the tray.

This logic game starts out easy, but gets trickier as Rubi’s technology gets more advanced, so here are a few tips to get your started

– Lasers emit light in four directions, but only one beam needs to get to the green crystal to defeat the maze

– Plan out where to drag and drop your mirrors to best reflect the laser beam through the maze

– Lasers can pass through crystals, but you can’t put a mirror on top of a crystal 

– You can put a mirror on top of a purple gate but your laser won’t pass through until you unlock the gate

– Unlock gates by hitting a purple star with a laser beam

– Some puzzles have more than one way to solve them; it’s okay to think outside the box!
