Play Dominoes

Dominoes: A Classic Game of Matching Fun for the Whole Family!
Looking for a game that combines strategy, luck, and loads of laughter? Dive into the delightful world of dominoes! This timeless classic, especially when played with four players, is perfect for family game nights, playdates, and rainy day fun.

How to Play 4-Player Dominoes:
In a 4-player game, the excitement multiplies! Each player starts with a set number of dominoes, and the goal is to be the first to empty your hand. The game begins with a “spinner” domino that’s the highest tile in any player’s hand (often the double-six)! Players then take turns matching the numbers on their tiles to the open and available ends of the domino chain. Strategic thinking comes into play when deciding which dominoes to place and which to hold back, anticipating your opponents’ moves.

But be careful when it comes to making moves – you don’t want to get ‘locked out’ of making a compatible move, OR have to draw more dominoes into your hand. If you want our advice, play your double dominoes sooner rather than later, to give yourself better chances for a match. Remember that the number on the domino only counts one side; each tile is double-edged.

Why WE Love Dominoes:
Easy to Learn, Fun to Master: Dominoes are simple to learn, but take some time to learn the strategies that will keep you and your opponents engaged
Maths: (kind of!) – Games about numbers, and reading pips on the dominoes, could maybe count as maths homework, right?
Competition: We love multiplayer games! Playing with two to four players encourages you to play at different difficulties and speeds
Problem-Solving: Think ahead, plan your moves, and adapt to the changing game dynamics.
