Hello, Roger here. I asked my cat Dodge to tell everyone about themselves but they didn't bother for two reasons: firstly, they're a cat, and secondly, they cleverly swerved this task. Dodge by name, Dodge by nature.

When it comes to animals, he's the ultimate dodger! He lives a life of dodge luxury – and if you've ever seen him, I guarantee he'll be doing absolutely nothing at all! I sometimes try to get him to join in with my dodging schemes – usually by bribing him with a tasty snack – but his first instinct is always to dodge right back out of them! With claws, probably! How on earth can he out-dodge the King Dodger himself? It's quite amazing, when you think about it.

Dogs will do anything for their owners. They’re so loyal. They try to ‘help’ when you’re relaxing with a comic or watching TV, and they’ll just stare at you when you’re having a snack in the hope they’ll get a piece for themselves.

Cats are a completely different kettle of fish. They’re independent, so they don’t want anyone’s help – unless it’s opening a box of cat food or a bag of treats. Other than that, they’re content to sleep, wander about, have a sleep, demand some food (even if you’ve just watched them eat a bowl already) and have another nap. 

They’re basically dodging in cat form. I’m not sure if he’s had a sneaky look at all 850 dodge books in my den for inspiration, or he was just born with these awesome skills. 

Come to think of it, I think my cat dodges even more than I do. I think all cats are the same, actually. Have you ever seen a cat go to school or wash dishes after dinner? Nope, neither have either. They’re so cunning and I think any would-be dodgers could learn a thing or two from cats, especially Dodge.

Oh, here he comes looking for a treat…
