1. Beanotown’s Spookiest Family!
It’s Halloween and Jem Jones – Beanotown’s resident ghost hunter – isn’t chasing after ghouls and spectres. She’s designing a bike instead! Her glowing journal suggests that ghosts may be near, so she’ll have to put her project on hold for the time being! Best pay a visit to the spookiest house in town!
2. The Menace of Frankenstein!
Let’s go back in time to the summer of 1816. Dennis is visiting Castle Frankenstein with his faithful four-legged pal, Gnasher. He wants to check in on Rubi to see if her unusual scientific experiment is nearing completion!
3. The Invisible Prankster!
Halloween is a great time of year to play pranks. And when we say pranks, we mean the most spooky pranks of all. This week, Harsha rises to the occasion with some petrifying practical jokes!
4. The Curious Case of Doctor Jekyll and Mr Spy!
As he goes for a wander around Beanotown’s market, a very dapper Dangerous Dan notices a stall selling Mr. P’s Perfectly Plausible Pop. Dan has some doubts about this product but is offered a free bottle. What could possibly go wrong?
5. The Curse of Class 2B!
1922. Class 2B find themselves in Egypt and searching for the mummy’s tomb deep in the heart of a huge pyramid. Surely the Bash Street Kids will be careful when examining such ancient artefacts…
Beano 4258: Angel Face and the Mystery of the Snoozing Kids!
1. Out for the count!
We know that Teacher’s lessons can be really boring, but why are the Bash Street Kids falling asleep? Angel Face investigates this snoozy phenomenon!
2. A brush with disaster!
Dennis’ dad gets a text from his distant relative great aunt Tilda. It turns out she’s mega posh and judgy, so it’s time to get a brush through Dennis and Gnasher’s hair before her arrival! Is this a first for the Beano history books? More importantly, will this impromptu visit be a success or a disaster?
3. Back to the future!
It’s Hari and Sahana’s wedding anniversary, which means one thing: Harsha devises an extra special prank for their special day. If you’re a fan of Back to the Future, then you’ll love what she has in store!
4. Wild in the aisles!
Dangerous Dan’s family are getting a brand new TV and Beanotown’s best spy is excited to look at the different gadgets in the shop. There he comes face to face with the Prefect, who has something rotten planned. Will Dangerous Dan be able to save the day?
5. Can Minnie steer clear of trouble?
Mayor Brown gathers the people of Beanotown to witness the unveiling of a brand new product from Wilburcorp… the Cyberkart! Minnie is selected to demonstrate the child-sized electric car in exchange for a bag of sweets. Surely nothing will go wrong?
Beano 4257: What’s Bugging Yeti?
1. Lost and found
Betty loses her hair bobble in Yeti’s fur, so Rubi offers to shrink her to the size of a peanut to help her look in his thick coat. This leads to an adventure she’ll never forget.
2. Wheel-y good fun
When Stevie Star spots Gnasher messing around on a skateboard, he sees the opportunity to score a viral post on social media. But will Dennis’ four-legged pal show off his skills on camera? Spoiler: absolutely not.
3. Dress to impress
When Minnie invites Toots over for dinner, she remembers her dad wasn’t impressed with the trail of destruction left from her last visit. This calls for an awesome disguise!
4. Artful dodger!
Roger’s plans to dodge out of doing work in art class backfires in a spectacular way. In a bid to avoid getting extra work from Miss Mistry, he hides out and finds himself in a stinky bin!
5. Wild wild west!
The Bash Street Kids are dressed in cowboy hats this week and cause havoc in a dusty town in the Wild West. Has someone used Rubi’s Time Machine or is there a sensible explanation for this unusual setting?
Beano 4256: Dangerous Dan-load!
1. Thanks for the memory card!
Beanotown’s top spy has gone digital in this week’s cover story! The Prefect is on the loose with a disintegrator ray which means Dan and his pals have been digitised and held captive on a memory card! Will they be able to escape their digital prison?
2. Pay attention!
Dennis and Gnasher are having trouble concentrating on what other people are saying this week. We’d love to tell you the rest of the story but we’re a little distracted by wondering what it would be like to live in a memory card!
3. Haunting melodies!
This week sees the first-ever comic strip featuring Beanotown’s spookiest family! Boris is keen to join the school band and instead of a violin, his dad offers him the chance to play on his old terrorphonium. We’re sure his haunted instrument sounds really delightful.
4. Anyone for spinach?
Rubi has almost completed work on her growth serum. She tests it out on a tiny dollop of ice cream and, of course, things don’t go according to plan!
5. Yellow, is it me you’re looking for?
General Blight is attacking Beanotown’s bank with a pair of giant pandas and Chief O’Reilly really needs a certain superhero to come to the rescue! Unfortunately, Bananaman has been enjoying a lazy day and attempts to reach him have been proving a little tricky!
