Have you ever experienced the mind-straining phenomenon known as the Mandela Effect? It's like living in a wacky alternate reality where memories clash with reality. The name comes from the famous South African activist Nelson Mandela, because of how many people think he passed away in the 1980s. Many people believe they remember his passing, only to be shocked when he emerged alive and well years later!

But this Mandela fact isn't the only head-scratcher. The Mandela Effect is brimming with mind-blowing examples that'll make your noggin spin. People have spent years thinking Looney Tunes was in fact called Looney Toons, and in the US, some people refer to Jif peanut butter as Jiffy. Then there's that iconic line from Star Wars IV: A New Hope which we'll test you on in a short while!

The little quirks challenge our shared memories and some people reckon it's the result of parallel universes meshing together or time travel messing with our brains.

It's all very confusing, right? But how many of these examples do you remember correctly?

Nice! You’ve clearly done your own research and not just been listening to whatever people tell you! That’s by far the best way to be, and it’s really important to check the information and stories people tell you, use that big human brain of yours to decide for yourself based on the evidence!
