No beards allowed!
When Disney World first opened in 1965, you weren't allowed in if you had facial hair. Even Disneyland employees weren't allowed to have moustaches until the year 2000 - which is a bit unfair seeing as Walt Disney himself had a moustache!
The robot Wall-E was named after Disney
That's right - the founder of Disney was called Walter Elias. Walter Elias - Wall E? Close enough!
There are secret tunnels underneath Disneyland!
Disneyland Florida has one of the world's largest systems of "utilidors" - or utility tunnels. This is how the costume characters travel round the park so fast, and pop up in different places so quickly. They might not be as spooky as this - but they're top secret so who knows!
The roars in The Lion King aren't from lions
They're actually recorded from tigers - because tigers have scarier roars, apparently! Everything we know is a lie!
Romantic mice
The man who did the voice for Mickey Mouse ended up marrying the woman who voiced Minnie Mouse. Awwww!
I can't see!
Around 1.65 million pairs of glasses have been lost on rollercoasters at Disneyland Parks since 1971! That's 52 TONNES of lost specs! Eeesh!
The Cinderella Castle isn't really that big
Disneyland's designers used some very clever tricks when they built Cinderella's castle. They made the bricks and windows get smaller the further up the tower you go, and angled the lines to trick your brain into thinking it's bigger than it actually is. Sneaky.
Wild cats!
There are around 200 wild cats that live in Disneyland to help get rid of mice (sorry, Mickey!)
Spooky scary skeletons
In the Pirates of the Caribbean ride at Disneyland, all of the skeletons used to be real! They were taken from UCLA’s medical center, and they've all now been put back - except for one human skull! SpOoOoOky!
The Lion King really upset some Hyena experts!
A hyena biologist was so annoyed at the way hyenas were made out to be villains in the Lion King that they sued Disney! Who's laughing now?
