What size squishie can I get?

You want a small squishie? No sweat, there’s a teeny-tiny teacup squishie with your name on it.And if you’re looking for a something a little bigger? Well then, a jumbo super-size strawberry squishie or a larger-than-life loaf of bread should get your appetite going!

What are squishies made of?

Squishies are made from a material known as polyurethane - which we usually call foam. But it’s not the kind if foam you find in a bubble-bath or in the washing-up tub - and you won't have to tear apart your prized penguin-shaped squishie to find out! This foam - which was created by a German inventor called Otto way back in the last century - was traditionally used to make seats in cars until a clever person in Japan came up with the idea of squishies!

So why are squishies so soft?

The foam used in squishies was designed to be soft enough to sit on but also springy enough not to be squashed flat. But it just so happened that these qualities make the foam perfect - for squishing!
